Hi,
just a short notice … OpenSSH 3.0.2p1 is available at
http://www.sf.net/projects/openqnx
It’s now possible to integrate M$Windows systems into a QNX cluster.
Regards
Armin

Nice. Is there any QNX4 ported OpenSSH somewhere?

Yes, but it does not seem to work correctly yet (it hangs after logout).

ya, but I thought that is the same problme on qnx6, or at least
for cdm’s port at qnx.wox.org. This may be a common problem in qnx.
I haven’t tried Armin’s port, hopefully he fixed that.

Aha, ok. How serious is the problem? Can you only log in
once (I guess this is not the case?)? Or is a sshd deamon started
each login time and then does not exit correctly, creating a zombie process?
In the latter case I guess you can stand killing these zombies manually when
getting too many.

Hmm … I never tested an interactive ssh session. I have now tested the
logout cmd
and it actually locks up. Ctrl + Brk terminates the session and you can
login again.
IMHO … this must be a QSSL problem and they should solve that problem,
because
a Network INFRASTRUCTURE Platform should have a working secure shell!

Hi,
in the meantime I found a patch from an other Canadian
institution
http://www.math.ualberta.ca/imaging/snfs/openssh-hang.patch
That patch solves the logout problem.
