devc-ser8250 priority

Dear all

I have two Windows98 hosted versions of rtp and two embedded versions of
rtp, on one of each machine devc-ser8250 has a priority of 24o and on the
other one of each it has a priority of 10r.

I tried [pri=24] devc-ser8250 in the image on the embedded machine, but it
appeares to have no effect.

Can any one tell me how the priority for this driver is assigned during
startup and how I can guarantee that it is a set value, say 23.

devc-ser8250 actually is a priority-float server, so it will match
the priority of it’s highest send blocked client.

It starts out at whatever priority you assign it, but the 24 is coming
from the priority of the pulse it uses for event notification, which is
created at 24r
