Recommended devb-eide blk parameters for robust file system

Hi

I am having a couple of problems (after a number of read/write operations to
the file system the file system suddenly will not allow me to write to a
file and some times devb-eide seems to died entirely) with my file system
and was wondering what are the best conservative parameters when it comes to
devb-eide blk parameters.

I was thinking about using

dewri=0

and

noatime

Any other recommendations?
