How can i create arepository on windows 2000 m/c & connect it via IDE Team

You should use cvsnt and setup a pserver - look at: http://www.cvsnt.org/

cvsnt (pserver mode) works great - we have been running with for months
without any problems, where we have been accessing it from QNX and Win32
client machines.

thanks for the reply. I d/nloaded & got installed the CVSNT on my server
on NTFS partiotion only). But when i tried to create arepository it gave
error "Unable to initialise " run cvs -d from command line
to get details.But when i tried from command line it is giving unknown
command. Can i get any help ion this regard on how to proceed

I think what I did was to create the repository with cvs under NT and then
tried to
connect from a QNX system.

I think the reason that you cannot run cvs from the command line probably
because
the location of cvs.exe is not included in your path.

There is a pretty good and active mailing list for cvsnt, which is probably
the better
place to ask questions.

BTW: my cvsnt is also using a repository on a NTFS file system.
