Adaptec 29160 not detecting any devices

We got a new server, custom-built using the parts listed as being QNX
compatible. Other problems notwithstanding, the devb-aha8 driver does
not detect any devices on the SCSI chain even though there are 5 72GB
hard drives there. The SCSI BIOS detects the drives, and the system’s
BIOS lists them as choices for boot devices.

Why can’t QNX 6.2 PE see them?

Also can you post the output from “pci -vvv”.

Several scsi_interpret_sense: messages. It appears to be scanning the
SCSI bus normally. Then, the driver crashes silently.

Also can you post the output from “pci -vvv”.

The stupid thing won’t let me mount a floppy disk! It keeps complaining
“can’t mount” “possible reason: can’t access shared library” or
something to that effect. There are no network ports available where
these systems are located, so I have no other way to offload the data
short of typing it in manually.

The stupid thing won’t let me mount a floppy disk! It keeps complaining
“can’t mount” “possible reason: can’t access shared library” or
something to that effect. There are no network ports available where
these systems are located, so I have no other way to offload the data
short of typing it in manually.
