6.2.1 CD doesn't load Intel GigE

I meant to mention this a while ago, so it’s probably well-known by now, but
just in case…

Even though 6.2.1 supports the Intel Gigabit Ethernet chips, when you boot
the CD and “run from CD” the driver is not loaded. Of course, if you
perform the installation to disk, the resulting system will load the driver
properly.

Might help if you also state which versions of 6.2.1 have the
gigabit driver. I think it’s only included in PE.

The “live” CD is 6.2.0. You have to install to actually have 6.2.1 as 6.2.1
is an update to 6.2.0.
