Touch Screens and QNX

We are having problems using New ELO touchscreens with our systems.
Whenever we calibrate the touch screen, the touch coordinates are
reversed. As I move my finger left to right, the cursor moves up and
down. QNX’s solution is edit the absf file manually. This is not a valid
solution for our customers. They also seem unwilling to spend any time
solving the problem.

I was wondering if anyone else has this problem?
Does anyone have a solution?
Does QNX have a valid solution?

Yes… we are aware of this.

That is not true. We have already spent time working with you on this
problem, and are quite willing to continue working to solve your problem.

You are also in the process of being offered (as of this morning) a matched
set of input driver and calibration utility to make sure that you are
using a pair that are known to work together.

Editing the calibration file is not the only solution you were offered.
You were offered the source code to the driver and the calibration utility.
For many customers this is the preferred solution. If it does turn out
that the changes in the new ELO touchscreens require modifications
to the calibration utility and/or input driver, then you will have to wait
for such changes to go through the entire QA department before you can
use them.

Perhaps if you asked about this in one of the QNX4 groups, you might have
a better response.

Yes. Continue to work with Heather in tech support.

Just wondering if you’re the same person Heather was talking to
and the same person whose problem was solved the other day by
using matched versions of driver and calibration utility?
