Printing from Photon ?

I have a HP LaserJet 6P that appears to hace been enumerated OK, but when I
try to print from any app in Photon, I get blank pages.

It appears that phfontFA is running. I assume this service is involved in
printing/font rendering in Photon.

cat >/dev/par1 will print out raw text OK, but thats it.

Anyone have any ideas?

i had exactly the same problem on a laserjet4P . i found that using
the postscript driver rather than the default PCL worked much better
although the halftoneing on the PS driver is not so good. but at least
it prints somthing

This problem, with some PCL printers, has been fixed. Look for a patch
release, due out soon.
