Helpviewer crashes phrelay (Garry)

It happens when I browse a doc with the helpviewer via Phindows.
I get the problem everytime when I browse the doc ‘Writing a resource
manager’. There is a paragraph called ‘OCBs, attributes, and mount
structure’ with a picture explaining the relationship between a resource
manager and its clients. If I press PgDown on the picture, Phindows
display, in the title bar, something like ‘SAVED xxxxxx (at xxxxxxx for
xxxxx …)’ for few seconds, and locks. Photon seems to be locked
also because I cannot use the main session on the host (black screen
with the mouse pointer only), I need to rlogin to it and slay phrelay to
unlock the host.

For Gary Turcotte, I use the phrelay which solve the problem with the
pterm windows.

In parenthesis:
As far as I remember, it was possible on qnx4 to do a ‘sin ver’ to get
the version of a program. I didn’t find the feature, I hope it will be
available on QRTP.

Thanks,
Alain.

Reproduced here.
Seems to be running off the end of a shared memory image…

Sounds quite similar to my ‘phrelay SIGSEGV’ problem in
qdn.public.qnx4.photon, doesn’t it? It also happens when viewing
shared memory images with phrelay…

Sounds exactly the same, but much easier to reproduce.
I believe I’ve fixed it but it needs a little more testing.
