I have some clients sending requests to a server which run each in their
shell.
These clients display a result for every resquest.
The cpu load is 100 % (at priority 10).
When the screen saver (flame) wants to run, the display is freezed but
flame don’t come, or come a long time after.
After few flame’s screens, the system locks. (maybe for a while, but too
long).
I had to restart qrtp!

If the clients are going to run ready all the time you might want to run
them at a lower priority. 8 or 9 should yield nicer results.
