I have read articles about Neutrino and Photon that it is possible to use 2
monitors. My box contains a Matrox G200 and a Matrox Millenium II. The
command ‘crttrap trap’ detect both video cards, that is not the problem.
What do I have to do after the ‘crttrap trap’ command. Because that isn’t
clear to me. I have merged the lines from the graphics-modes for each
display card at the top of the graphics modes files, but still there are
troubles. Photon doens’t react anymore on keyboard commands or mouse clicks
and my second display remains black.
Can you please help me with this problem???
Freddy
PS When is multi monitor supported on the console without using Photon?
There are currently some issues with dual monitors under QNX RTP, there
are a few people who have gotten dual monitors to function, however
there is a background manager issue that doesn’t redraw properly in Photon.

The G200 is a AGP card with PCI index=0
The millenium is a PCI card with PCI index=0
(Is that correct, 2 times PCI index=0???)
I merged the two lines to one line with a semi column, that is something
I had to do according to the docs found on this newsgroup. And now you
replied to me that it is a manager problem. Does that mean that it isn’t
possible for me to use two monitors at the same time right now???
Thanks in advance,
Freddy

The -I parameter is the `instance’ number of the card with the PCI device ID
and vendor ID. Since these cards don’t have the same vendor/device ID,
then there is one instance of each.
Hi Freddy,
There are a few people who have gotten this going, but there are known issues
with it at this time. So it works, but there are still problems to be ironed
out.
