CT65545 LCD Video Chipset in RTP

I’ve just realized that it seems support for the CT65545 LCD chipset
has been removed from RTP / Photon 2.0. It apparently used to be
supported in QNX4. I desperately need to have support for this
chipset, because my embedded application runs much too slowly in
“safe” VGA 16-color mode.

Is there any way I can use the Pg.chips* drivers from Photon
1.13/1.14? All I need to run is a PhAB application. Is it possible
that support for the RTP driver is in beta, and I could get could a
preliminary copy of it?

I’m desperate and up against a time limit! :slight_smile:

Hi Warren,

The QNX 4 Pg drivers are not compatible with RTP.
There is no planned accelerated support for CT65545.
Try the SVGA driver (devg-svga.so) with at least the January RTP release.

Check your hardware if it supports VESA mode ?
