Simplified chinese display in widgets

Is there a way to display simplified chinese in widgets? Currently, we’re
able to view traditional & simplified chinese in webpages but widgets can
only display traditional chinese characters, simplified chinese characters
are either comes out gibberish or simply translated into traditional
chinese. For translation to chinese in widgets, PxTranslate is used and Big5
is chosen as the decoding language. All the chinese support have been
installed on our 6.0 system.

Hello Wen

Try setting the font on the widget to actually be the simplified chinese font ( I believe it is
the Bitstream SB Gothic SC Unicode ). This should allow you to use the simplified chinese font
instead of the traditional one.

Thanks
Rodney

The Chinese font buildin the QNX is ugly,if you have enough disk size, you
can copy some windows’ truetype fonts to /usr/photon/font_repository and
then run font install, after that you can use the new added font.you can
contact QNX chinese agence for more details.(TEL:86-10-82620818-522)
That’s only a way,I think you shall have to get a permission from MS.-
