VIM his not to bad, if you know all the hotkeys.
Try this. I’am still working on it, but it is better then ped.
It is using a PtOsContainer, so it does not work thru phditto and phindows.
Active Ctags is a work in progress.
It installs :
/usr/photon/bin/ws (the editor binary )
/root/workspace/General.cfg ( Starting Configuration file for Commands
and Helper for root )
/root/workspace/Editor.cfg (Starting Configuration file for Syntax
highlighting for root )
/root/workspace/Fixes.txt (Log file from revision evolution )
/opt/bin/ctags ( ctags 5.1 binary )
If you want updates, have questions, request or suggestions, send me an
email.

Hi,
Michel, I think you are working for a quite required app for Photon. I tried workspace and I’d
found it’s (and it will ) quite interesting and useful. To solve problem with highlight for user
(non root) I’ve copied /root/workspace to /home/user/workspace. But it causes a small problem with
files-tree window. Thank you.
If anybody remember Turbo vision interface and Borland C 3.1 he could try RHIDE.
Best regards,
Eduard.

In the file /home/user/workspace/Workspace.cfg there is an entry name
"Root Dir"in [File Selector 2]. Either remove the entry, relaunch
workspace and the entry will be set to your HOME directory or remove the
whole Workspace.cfg file and a new one will be created will default values.
The “Root Dir” is save and reload so that you have a way of setting it
to a project. This is very useful, when your working on the same project
for several weeks. This means would would have one filesystem set on “/”
and the other one on your project.
By the way you can open any workspace configuration files, they are all
ascii.
Michel…
Great product! I like it a lot. Thanks.
You may count me in for future updates. I wonder, when you open
a number of files, perhaps you may want to put tabs for easy access to
the different buffers?
Regards…
Miguel.
