App Builder Printing

I am trying to print out of Builder. I can print from Help and Voyager, but
not Builder. It needs a Pinter Command in the Preferences???

I have spooler working to an HP 8100N just fine.

I am trying to print the screens that are created in the layout, in color if
possible.

Hello John,

Is it code you would like to print? If so you can usually print from
the editor you are using to view/edit your code from.

Regards,
Dave B.

Take a look at the snapshot utility.

When I print from snapshot I get just the print job page at the end.
No image at all.
If I save to file .ps and send it with lpr, I still only get the job page
even though there is something in the file it created.

If I do all pages and try to send the file is to large.

Is there a way to turn that off?

I used Viewer to print to File in PS mode.
The screen shot was about 640 x 480.
The preview showed what I was expecting.
The file was moved to a computer with PhotoShop and I only got
The lower have of the image.

So can Photon really do PostScript?
It seams to work from Help and Voyager.

Can the Spooler send very large files that need handshaking with the
printer?

Lpr will not allow large files.

Is there other ways to get screen shots from photon and photon appbuilder?

Note: If I click on PS in a print dialog it does not change the mode. The
file is phs. I have to select print to file then choose PS.

Hello John,

pv seems to have a problem printing a SnapShot image saved in Photon
Viewer format. Change this to a JPEG format then take your snap shot.
The file will be saved in your home directory called snap1.jpg. You can
open that file with pv and the print should work fine.

In your /etc/printcap entries, add :mx#0: to eliminate file size checking. The
default is unreasonably low…
