Is is possible to drive this chip in a low resolution at 50Hz?
This is required for a new application that will be converting the
VGA to PAL/CCIR video, which requires a 50Hz signal.
The PC/104 h/w used has this chip onboard.
Thanks in advance
Hi Alex,
The devg-chips_hiqv.so driver uses the BIOS to set
the video mode. The latest driver does allow changing
the refresh rate on some card/BIOS combinations, but
only to 60,75,85 Hz. To get 50Hz would require a
custom, direct mode-switcher. This can be done via
custom eng or by using the graphics DDK.
Regards,
Erick.
