Interrupt Vector Table

I am currently customising the QNX starup program for our PPC603 processor based board. At the end of main in startup programme, I assume that the control returns to the kernel. My question is at that point, what would be the contents of the Interrupt Vector Table? Is it completely under the control of the kernel?
