where is module procnto-instr ?

Hi,

url http://qdn.qnx.com/news/releases/releasenotes_SAT.html
says about module procnto-instr and
its online docs /usr/help/product/instr_en/bookset.html.
where are it ?

Thanks,
vasilii

If you have it (you may not depending on which version of the OS you’re
using), it will be in $QNX_TARGET/$CPU/boot/sys. “Where” is not
particularily relevant though. “How” is what you want. You’ll need to
modify the first little bit of your buildfile for your target system and
where it says ‘procnto’, you’ll want to put ‘procnto-insr’. Then, when you
rebuild your image with mkifs, you’ll get the instrumented procnto.

cheers,

Kris

That would be the standard, “Contact your sales representative” reply.
Nothing as good as the instrumented kernel is free.

I am also interested in working with the instrumeted kernel.
I am currently working on QNX RTP 6.1.0, intended for educational use only.

I have found procnto-instr nowhere.
How can I obtain it? Is there any newer version which includes it?

Thanks,

Ramon

If I may quote my previous post:
