It has been out of bandwidth for 2 weeks now.

Does this even work??? I downloaded it, along with the lib*.*.so stuff and
after figuring out where
the put everything (no readme in the amp.gz) I got it to run with the
familar WinAmp look. After
that nothing…Push play, it opens a dialog for me to select a MP3, hit ok,
nothing, it is not added to
the playlist or into the main screen. Basically it was unable to create a
playlist or even play any tunes.
It says version 0.9 so I’m not sure if I missed something in a config or
what???

I believe you have to download the X100 Plugins as well. Did you get
that archive as well?

That did it. I thought they were for extra stuff…
It works now but the sound is very poor. It seems like it is not setting
the
sample rate correctly. The *.mp3 file is 44khz and 128kbps stereo but it
sounds
like it is a 45rpm record played on the 33rpm setting…
The media player plays the *.mp3 files just fine so I know my sound is
configured correctly.
Thanks…
