voyager.server

I have a new problem this morning. When I try to start vmail or voyager,
they say they can’t start voyager.server (no such file or directory)
!?!.
when I ‘find voyager.server’ it exists in several directories. So, when
is it supposed to be to be found?

Is really dommage that vmail and voyager don’t print out a more precise
message on shell or in system log file.

Alain.

Alain,

Did you recently change your shell? (to bash maybe)

Ah, ok. It’s a problem we have documented here:

http://support.qnx.com/support/bok/solution.qnx?10075

"The Voyager client can no longer find the server. It looks in this
directory:

/$SYSNAME/voyager/$PROCESSOR/bin

Which is set in the default shell. This means that $SYSNAME and
$PROCESSOR need to be exported correctly. This is a temporary method,
and we are in the process of cleaning it up. For now, you’ll need to
define these environment variables the same way /etc/profile sets them
up when you login using the standard shell."

I’m not actually confused. (much)
