How do we add files to the help viewer (like the help files for various
programs we install, or the new documents found on qdn.qnx.com)? I
noticed that the file menu doesn’t allow you to bring up a file
requester and look for a help file.

The helpviewer looks for files with an extension of “.toc” in the
/usr/help/product directory. Take a look at an existing .toc file as
well as the Context-Sensitive Help chapter of the Photon Programmer’s
Guide.
If you want to open an arbitrary file without creating the .toc files, use
the Voyager browser instead of the helpviewer.

Thanks, I’ll look at the .toc files. I have used Voyager, but, I wanted
to see if I could add some of the docs from the qdn.qnx.com to the
Helpviewer.
Again, thanks,
Paul
