3D Hardware Support

Hey… how is it that QNX only supports 3DFX? why leave all other (and
some times better) cards out?..
isn’t there plans for a OpenGL library or something ?.. I’d really like
to test Q3 with my TNT2 Ultra…

damn… life’s a shame…

QNX only supports 3dfx cards because 3dfx was one of the first companies
to open source their hardware drivers. QNX has had very good support for
3dfx for awhile now. However, nvidia has not opened their drivers, they’ve
only provided static libraries for the cards, so QNX has no 3d support for
TNT2 Ultra or other cards, only 2d.

It certainly is. Call the board manufacturer and demand that they give QNX6
what they need to support that line of cards.
