Emacs executable for Patch B available

There is a new emacs 20.7 executable for Patch B available via
anonymous FTP at ftp://24.112.178.91/pub/qnxrtp. It simply unpacks
into the current directory, and you can just move it to the location
of your existing installation.

Nothing else has changed for emacs for Patch B. The executable just
needed to be re-dumped (emacs dumps its memory to file and then runs
the file).

Cheers,
Andrew Thomas

Hi,

I assume this version this works also in 6,1?
How shall it be installed? When using tar xvzf it complained some
“tar: share: Cannot change mode to 0775: not supported”,
and some
“tar: share: Cannot chown to uid 0 gid 0: not supported”,
and finally
“tar: Error exit delayed from previous errors.”

The result is an unusable installation.

Cheers / Tomas

You can get Emacs 20.7.1 for 6.1 from the repository at the location
mentioned by Andrew Thomas.

Start the Package Installer and make a new repository with the location
ftp://24.112.178.91/pub/qnxrtp/repository.
