Hi
I’m trying to set up qtalk to receive a file using the zmodem over a serial
link (letting it autodetect zmodem or qcp) but just get a ‘not supported’
or similar message.
Basically i’m wanting to upgrade a program over a serial link by sending
the file using hyperterminal on windows (its what the customer has).
Any ideas?
Cheers
Jim
actually the message is ‘resource temporarliy unavailable’
If I go into command mode using ctrl-a and then set tx protocol to zmodem
and then hit r to receive i get ‘rz : not found’
Anybody got any ideas or know of any updates to qtalk ? I’m using patch A on
this setup but I don’t think anything changed in qtalk in patch B…
Regards
Jim

I maybe wrong, but Idon’t think rz comes with QNX6?
qtalk uses external programs to do the d/l.
You must supply rz or similar.

Thanks Alex.
Ok - Anyone know if rz is available anywhere for QNX RTP???!!!
Did you manage to get a working version of rz etc?
I have a similar problem and have resolved it by using a QNX version of
kermit.
It’s slow but it works OK
you can download it from:
ftp://kermit.columbia.edu/kermit/bin/gku100.i386-qnxnto-2
its ready compiles and works with Neutrino 2+
