(Re)Hi Jerry,
I found a way to prevent questions about QPM:script, but packager still
ask for launch menu, despite QPM:Launch. So, I’d like to know if this is
because QPM:launch</QPM:Launch> is not correct, not sufficient, or not
taken in account by packager. In case of last answer, it should be
interesting to foresee this feature for future release.
Is it possible to prevent question about Product key?
regards,
Alain.
Alain, it’s packager that’s not taking the Launch entry into account (it’s a
little different than the rest of the tags), not anything you’re doing
wrong.
You can’t get rid of the ProductKey question unless you add the tag, which I
don’t recommend.
In general, it’s thought that you would answer the questions once only,
then make a QPG file (if you have to repackage), mark it unattended mode,
then never have to worry about this kind of problem again. Why aren’t you
using a QPG (I know you’re an expert at QPGs now)?

I’m using a QPG file so, why don’t you recommend to add the QPM:ProductKey
tag?
I don’t really know why I don’t use packager in unattended mode at shell
prompt but now I’ve included the packages generation in our SlickEdit
project management, I use packager -u in the scripts.
