emacs or X11 keyboard

Hi,
I’ve installed emacs 21.2.1 on QNX 6.2.1 system but am having a problem
with keyboard bindings. I have a UK keyboard, and its set up fine in
photon applications, but when I type @ or " or # etc in emacs (or other
applications needing x, eg xpdf), I get the wrong character out. I
guess that Ive not got my XF86Config file set up correctly - what do I
need to tell it that I’ve got a uk keyboard?
