Mozilla crashing without sound card

Hello,
I am having a problem trying to use mozilla (1.0 and 1.4) in QNX 6.2.1
:
it starts showing some errors in a console:
“snd_pcm_open failed: No such file or directory”
and after that, it just crash without any message …

Any ideas on how to correct this ?
BTW: I do not have a driver for my sound card (Soundmax integrated digital
audio).

TIA
Luciano.

Mozilla doesn’t handle directly the sound device, but spawns applications
that use it.
It’s probably the flashplayer, that you can disable by removing
/opt/Mozilla/mozilla/plugins/vpi.so ( this will disable all the plugins )
or by editing /usr/photon/plugins/config.

If it’s not the flashplayer, try removing /opt/Mozilla/mozilla/wave.
