Wouldn’t it be nice if QSSL started counting again, or stopped reporting
that they were?
I’m certain that we’ve passed 1,000,000 unique downloads, but we’ve been
@ 900,000 since Patch A, when the counters were stopped.

I see in this morning’s QNX Newletter that they’re “officially announcing”
that RTP has “gone platinum”. And the website has been updated with a
splashy new “1,000,000 downloads” banner. Hmmmm, I smell the Marketing

Not at all - I congratulate them on the milestone. I just chuckled to myself
that they let the counter sit unchanged until they had the hoopla machine ready
to go. My sarcasm was more along the lines of Alex’s “it takes one to know
one”.
But now the really tough part comes - how do they maintain this momentum? And,
of course, I wish them well with that, too. After all, that’s called
“advocacy”.
