add samba to next RTP...

Hi…

I wonder if the next RTP release could add samba to its repertoire? I
installed samba, but it is still not working with Windows because of
passwords and such… It says that there is a problem with my compile
setup among other things… so I gave up.

So, Samba would be a good addition for those of us that do not have time
to fiddle for ever with petty additions…, and in all cases, it could
be made optional. :slight_smile:

The latest version of Samba works fine right from the Samba site with some
minor changes in a couple of source files and the replacement of a couple
make files.
