embedded conference + qnx table...

Hi…

Last week I had the opportunity to go a vendor’s conference in San Jose,
CA, and found some QNX sales + technical locals personnel who where very
friendly and approachable. They got our information. It was late I
suppose (12-noon), but the QNX table was… empty. (The floor was
suppose to close at 3:00 pm.)

Why was the table empty at noon, when you get most of the trafic??

Remember the floppy disk with QNX 4.2x on it? Why not have that at
least on the table? I think that they had run out of goodies, but all
other vendors on the floor had more goodies.

I took along with me a person from another company who is thinking about
buying a PE edition of QNX, hoping to show him all the wonderful things
that QNX can do. We got some literature. “Oh well, may be another time”
-he said.

Regards…

Miguel.

Hey Miguel,

Do I know him?

The reason I ask is that Anthony and Dave at the San Jose QNX sales office
would love to meet with this individual. They’ve already had one meeting
with folks at UD and we’re looking to have another. The first meeting
apparently went really well (I wasn’t there, but helped set it up). Those
guys are always looking for people to talk to, and I plan on getting an even
larger audience for them. Education never hurt anybody .

Later,
Kevin
