RIVA TNT2 + AGP

Hi,

Is it possible to use AGP (not PCI) nVidia Riva TNT2 in Photon 1.14 (QNX
4.25). Driver Pg.tnt doesn’t want to work (crttrap can’t recognize my
Riva)?
Any suggestions, please.

Hi Radoslaw,

These cards should work, however because nVidia OEMs their chipsets out
there sometimes can be problems with a particular card made by another
manufacturer. There is a graphics patch that fixes a few TNT issues,
it is currently in beta, but if you are interested you can obtain it
by e-mailing beta@qnx.com and sending them the following:

  • your name
  • your company
  • your fax number
  • QUICS user ID (if you have one)
  • Phone number
  • Beta group you want to join (Photon)

They will then contact you and setup the rest.
