Can someone tell me how to get my Voyager Newsreader to
thread QDN articles again. It used to do this, and one day
it just stopped. I’ve check the Edit/Config/Newsreader
configuration page and can’t find any option that should do this.

Try editing ~/.photon/voyager/config.mail, there should be a line
Do news threading = YES
