I have an old machine with a serial mouse, and I am unable to get the mouse
to work properly in photon. In fact, the mouse cursor will not move below
the top half of the screen. There is no trap file, and in the sysinit file
I just start up “Dev.ser &”.
I thought to myself that I should try and get the mouse working under the
console. So I typed in “mousetrap start” (I know it’s deprecated), then
“Mouse test”, and it appears to work correctly. However, when I start
vedit, I am unable to use the mouse to select text or work the menu. Very
strange.
Does anyone have any other ideas?
