Photon1.13 on a Toshiba Satellite 4300

I’ve got problems with stability of Photon 1.13 running QNX 4.25D on Toshiba
Satellite Pro 4300
(graphics controler - S3 Savage/IX-MV rev 17 with 8MB RAM, 14’ TFT display,
320M ram).

Photon 1.13 ( without patches ) works very well with Pg.flat* drivers. But
sometimes screen is unexpectedly freezing.
I can ditto from another node ( open pterms, start programs), but the screen
doesn’t change.

I’ve installed Patch C. Nothing changed, but I’ve got more Problems (
appbuilder hangups ).

crt.node first line:
Hydra.ms -S -i0x4117 -s0x0001,0x0000 -r;Pg.flatdc -HC0x00010000
-HNqnx/crt -g1024x768x16 -A0xF0000000,0x800000
-WB2048;#1024,768,16,100,1,flatdc - VGA hi-color

Is it possible to use Pg.s3_savage ( graphics-1.14 B -Patch ) with Photon
1.13 ?

What is the output of “sin” when you ditto in from another node?

Hi Erick,
I believe, that doesn’t participate right.

The first sin, that I have sent, originated before the Login(Phlogin). At
this time, no PWM and PDM still runs, I believe.
The second sin originated after the Login. I can start a Pterm in this
condition over the Windows-Key (PWM Workspace Menu) without seeing
something. Then, I can do a shutdown.
