Hi,
I’m trying to get vpim (Japanese Input) to run on a flash file
system. Any tips on how to get this to work? I’ve copied over
the vpim binary and some of its file dependencies such as vje.key,
msime.key, vjeb.key, ja_JP.tab over to /efs1p1 but to no avail.
The program won’t launch from my flash file system. Are there
any other file dependencies?
Would appreciate any help. Thanks.

yes, running photon. Our system currently runs several GUI
applications such as Voyager, Qmail, and even CPIM (the Chinese
Character Input). right now its just the Japanese input that we’re
having problems with. I still suspect that its some kind of
file dependency issue. For example if I delete the vjeb.dic,
then vpim won’t execute. Can you tell me what files are installed/
modified with the japanese kit? Any help is appreciated as this
problem is still unresolved. Thanks.
