Photon: Adjusting the time offset by X seconds

Hi everyone,

I am getting the message:

Photon: Adjusting the time offset by 1024668694 seconds

everytime I boot (the number keeps increasing, I’m assuming this
is the actual number of seconds since Jan 1970). This is running
Photon 1.13 with QNX 4.25. It has just appeared recently because
I know it didn’t do this before. Does anyone know what this means?
I couldn’t find it in the help.

Thanks,
Rob

Yes, we do change the time via “rtc hw” at the very start before Photon
is started. Not sure why this would make a difference to Photon. Does
this have something to do with it? I don’t ever remember seeing this
message before, though, and we’ve always used the rtc hw command.

Are you running on a faster machine than you were ? Are you sure that
“rtc hw” is being executed before Photon is running ?

Hey Rob

Do you change the time at all during boot up?

Thanks,
Rodney

Also, are you syncing this system with the time on another system before you
run “rtc hw”?
