Upgrading from QNX4.24 to QNX4.25, I run into a curious phindows
font problem.
QNX4.24, photon1.13, phindows 1.20.
->Every fonts are perfectly displayed in Phindows.
QNX4.25 patch E, photon1.14, phindows 1.20.
->Some fonts, size larger than 18 pts., are not displayed in Phindows.
(maybe this is a known problem…
Can someone tell me which module is the cause of this problem?
If I replace some module, will this problem be fixed?

This has to do with a licensing issue with PFRs (scalable fonts).
I would have thought that it would never work, since according
to aggreements, it is illegal to digitally transmit an image of
a scalable PFR.
If it is for your own personal use, I believe,
but could be wrong, that one can copy the PFR files to the Windows
box photon font directory, and it will work.
Someone else may be able to further explain.
