Same problems with the Rage 128 controller … I see only screen updates
if I produce mouse events.
No time in the moment to go into the sources …

You might want to post your /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 file and the
command you used to start devi-hirun.
I’ve never tried serial mouse, if yours is a serial mouse, you may also
want to post how your serial port driver is started. it is possible
that you need to tweak how it is started, such that there is no caching.

Does the mouse work fine in Photon?
You can also try the new version of devi-hirun from
http://developers.qnx.com/ under “Fixes”.
