This is because I ask you the question.
According to the web page, it seems that xvnc 3.3.3 needs to be patched
(http://www.dei.isep.ipp.pt/~andre/extern/ixvnc.htm) to be launched by inetd.

But I think that the web page is not so clear!

What’s your opinion?

It’s no different from Xvnc on other Unix.
you can either run it from inetd, or run it directly.
check xvnc homepage

based on the url you gave, the patch is already included in the
newer releases than 3.3.3.
the version from openqnx is 3.3.3r2, which is the newest release
from the Xvnc homepage. It already has those patches included.
