This is totally off topic, but I just scored a whack of VoIP equipment
surplus.
How do I make it go?
These are IPShuttle and IPCourier products; they wanted DHCP, so I set
that up, and then the IPCourier sez “Connecting IPC Server…” and
just hangs.
What software do I need? Any FAQ’s out there? What protocol am I looking at?
Totally clueless; thanks much in advance for any leads!
Cheers,
-RK

Set the price really cheap and offer to pay the shipping!
Sorry, couldn’t help it!

A Google search turned up 25 references…I didn’t read them all…For a
chuckle - to see what happens to abandoned .com names - go see
www.viennasys.com — they were in Kanata (oddly enough!) a couple of
years ago.
Seriously, I expect you’ll have to open up one each and see what’s
inside, and then decide if they can be made useful. I suspect the
Tuxscreen project started like this (tuxscreen.sourceforge.net). If I
get up to Ottawa in the next month or so, I’ll be happy to drop by with
a screwdriver.
Keep us posted…
