Not really. I’ve been fighting with this bugbear thing all day long
today, and haven’t succeded.
Had a long conversation with Dr.Web’s techies, sent them new variant of
bubear (.3 already!). This shit spreads too fast, but those ‘QNX
screensavers’ aren’t bugbear. Actually bubears are all about ~70k, and
this scr is about ~92.
IMHO, somebody just wants a QNX key or smth… And emails are taken from
this newsgroup.

from the infectee’s HDD.

So those reading qdn.* likely have snippets of articles
in cache somewhere, which the worm picks up and redistributes,
very likely another qdn.* lurker.

The worm could leak out your sooper-sekrit source code
or bitch about your boss, but people still aren’t aware of
the problem.
