Create image of hard drive

I would like to create an image of my hard drive
to use in case of system failure. I have tried various
imaging programs such as ghost and Drive Image 5.0
with both drives in the system–one set as master and
the other as slave. Neither program works, they seem
to have trouble with the QNX 2.0 boot sector. My
boot floppy is not working, so I cannot reinstall my software from scratch.
Any ideas on drive imaging or
repairing boot floppys?
Paul

Paul,
I have had success using HDClone from miray.de (the free version) to
copy QNX to a bigger drive. It seems like it works, but the only test I
am
performing it on is a source drive with bad tables. I can tell you that
from
fdisk and utilities, the copy looks exactly the same. Good luck,

Downloaded HDClone, but it did not load past the point where is searches for
IDE hard drives–didn’t find either drive in my system. I will continue to
work this idea.

Paul,
I had problems like that also - I discovered just playing with them in
master/slave positions would eventually work - otherwise play inside bios
or put on different IDE channels.
