It is kinda fair, because if you build commercial product with QNX6 you have
to pay anyway.

Well, some of the toolkit was printed docs (we didn’t have online docs
back then) so you had to order it. But, if I remember properly it was
a free product – that is, you ordered it, but there was no price. (Well,
not sure about shipping, might have been a shipping charge.)
