I read there is a port of samba 2.2.* to qnx 6.
Is there any work or even any chance to have a newer version then 2.0.7 for
qnx 4?

It works exceedingly well. Just install the package files, configure it,
and let 'er rip !.
Unfortunately, I’m running the wrong system ( right now ) to give you
the URL. I’ve got it stored as a Voyager bookmark, and can’t check right now,
but it was probably either www.wox.org/repository/6.1/ or www.qnxzone.com
Try either, or both, of them.
