Just wondering

What are the appropriate uses of this group? Employers only. Or is it
appropriate to post resumes here?

Sure… post resumes… but email it to pete@qnx.com first!

I’m guessing that Pete’s mailbox is pretty full right about now.

$200.00 apiece from each headhunter, plus another nickel apiece
from a few thousand spammers adds up!

Valid name, address, phone… the whole nine yards plus demographics.

These are gold!

Actually, we have employment opportunites posted on our web page.
I’m looking for someone to deal with Input devices right now. While
I wouldn’t expect anyone who’s already reading this to move here
in order to do this, if any of you know of someone who’s looking
for a foot in the door in the industry and willing to come live
in Ottawa, I’d be happy to interview them.

Just send me an email, and I’ll hook them up with our HR dept.
to schedule an interview. We have other positions available
as well.

Sorry to hijack your thread Todd, but I don’t think anyone would
object to you posting your resume.

All kidding aside, I have found that the head hunters just do not know what
to do with QNX. Many employers do not always mention QNX in their adds for
QNX positions, they say things like UNIX, LINUX or POSIX. Finding QNX work
in Vancouver has been very difficult for me. Where as UNIX and Linux work
is abundant around town.

With any luck, that may change soon.

Hi Todd.

You can post CV’s to this group, or contact me directly at gfields@qnx.com.
I have recently come on board as the Technical Recruiter and would be happy
to offer my assistance.

Cheers,

Greg Fields
