Senior Software Engineer
Department: Engineering
An opening exists in our Engineering Department for a Senior Software
Engineer.
Key Responsibilities:
Working closely with the Software Team Lead to enhance software processes
Software Development for next generation products
Provide Design Guidance, Design Review and Training to other developers
Assist in converging the design and code of the company’s various software
entities
The successful candidate will have:
University Degree (BSc/MSc) in computer Science or BEng
5 years of software development expertise in real-time embedded systems with
emphasis on design
C++ and at-least one of the following Real-Time OS (QNX, LINEO)
Knowledge of OOD/OOP
Good knowledge of full software life cycle processes tools
Full involvement in Software Development Cycle
Expertise in hardware/software integration
Experience with Software CASE tools such as RATIONAL
Skills/Aptitudes
Organized
Excellent Communication skills (Written & Verbal)
Team Player
Work with very little or no supervision
