Senior QNX RTOS Developer (Full-time/Permanent)
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
-Primary code design for a telematics project on QNX.
-Develop and code substantial segments of the telematics program involving
speech and wireless Internet on QNX.
-Evaluate and choose technologies to be used in the project.
-Write technical documents.
-Contribute to planning on future functionality.
Requirements:
-Expert in QNX (or equivalent embedded system, if strong in everything
else.)
-Telematics (automotive) related software development a plus.
-6+ years of C/C++ development.
-Computer Science degree or equivalent.
-Knowledge of Win32, COM and other Microsoft development technologies.
-Thorough technical knowledge of software development methodologies, design
and implementation.
-Good communications (e-mail, verbal) and interpersonal skills.
-Great attitude.
-Experience with voice applications and technologies, especially embedded
speech engines, is a plus.
-Wireless Internet (through a cell phone) experience is a plus.
