Hi,
I have installed the “Character (Serial) DDK” from the downloaded
QNX6.1.0 iso file (The July 6th release).
I can find no documentation or files for this anywhere in my system.
(They are probably there, just I have no idea where to start.)
I tried the Help Viewer, but there appear to be no topics in it regarding
this package.
We do have a project that has been waiting for this…

is this for qnx4 src or qnx6? i’m assuming qnx6 even though this newsgroup
is for qnx4.
once you install the ddks then you use the get-cvs-src script to
install them to somewhere…
i usually use /home/ddks
the character (devc) docs are not available in those packages yet.
but the code itself is quite clean… we have had many users modify the
8250 serial driver from code already.
i do not know when doc sets will be coming for the devc ddk pieces.

oops - I did not look carefully enough at the newsgroup name! Tut! tut!
