AHA8 SCSI

We want to use a newer SCSI card with version 4.24 and I saw that the newer
card are supported with the aha8 driver. Our problem is that that driver is
not included with 4.24 and I can not find a download for it anywhere and I
also dont know how to install it when I do get it downloaded. Where can I
find this driver and how do I install it?
Thanks in advance

The simple answer is to get the lastest CD, which should be 4.25E
and upgrade. If you have an old Quics account, look in /updates/qnx4.24
or something like that. I don’t know if you can use the new aha8
with an old 4.24 Fsys.

BTW - the way to get the CD is to call your salesperson.

Hi Eric,

Can you not upgrade? If you use the new AHA8 driver with 4.24 we cannot
promise you that it will work, nor will we be able to support you if you
are running that driver on the older Fsys module as we haven’t tested it
out in house, so we don’t know how it will behave. Best move it to update
the system to 4.25 and get the latest driver that way.

Take care.

E.
