Anybody knows or uses CVS 1.11 (Client and Server) on QNX4?
I’m using CVS 1.10 currently.
But I’m not able to connect to the CVS server running on QNX 4.25
from Momentics PE running on Windows 2000.
On a testmachine running QNX 6.2.1 with CVS 1.11 it was working.
But I try to keep my CVS repository on the QNX4 server.
Any help is apreciated

I have CVS 1.11 working client/server between QNX systems. I ported it to
QNX 4.25 about 2 years ago, to be used in non-server mode. We were using
native QNX messaging, and so just referenced the repository in an //n/ -
type QNX directory on another node.
When I moved on to another project, I tried it in TCP/IP client/server mode,
and it didn’t work. It’s been a while since I did this, but I believe that
the values CLIENT_SUPPORT and SERVER_SUPPORT have to be defined in config.h,
and the cvs application must be recompiled. These values were undefined in
the source distribution from the CVS website, which meant in particular that
server support was disabled. There were also some configuration parameters
cited in the Cederqvist manual that were tricky to get right. If those give
you trouble, I can go back and see if I can remember what it is I had to do.

There I can see only a Version CVS 1.10

I’ve got the CVS 1.11 source but was not able yet to compile it on QNX4.
It doesn’t go cleanly through the configuration step.
So before loosing a lot of time, I’m asking, if someone has a
CVS 1.11 master/slave binary for QNX4 and is willing to give it away.
